Dostęp do obiektu z zewnątrz bezproblemowy. Brak ogrodzenia, kamer, czujek, ochrony, czy czegokolwiek. Można dostać się od północy, od strony Międzynarodowego Dworca Autobusowego. Albo od zachodu od strony mostu kolejowego. Wystarczy przemknąć niby laskiem i obiekt stoi otworem. UWAGA NA POCIĄGI!! Dwa z trzech torów pod mostem kolejowym są cały czas aktywne! Trzeba też uważać na budynek nastawni na południe od parowozowni. Stacjonuje tam pracownik, który może wezwać SOK. W moim przypadku obyło się bez przypału. Wnętrza budynków są już niedostępne, każde wejście i okno zostało zamurowane. Mimo wszystko i tak warto się przejść, nawet dla samych elewacji
