Description
The “Centro Vacanza della Gioventù Italiana” is an abandoned children's camp. It was built in 1935 and abandoned in the 1990s, partly due to the high levels of asbestos found in the building structure. The old summer camp served various purposes over the years: it was a hospital, a scientific college and finally a municipal depot. Over the years, the local authority has tried to find contractors willing to renovate the building and bring it back to life, but all to no avail, the building is rotting away and is already extremely moldy in places.
