Old railway station Tarvisio

Tarvisio Centrale railroad station was closed in 2000. Since then, the huge building complex has become increasingly dilapidated and moldy. Over the decades, a lot of asbestos concrete and other components containing asbestos have been used during renovations. Much of the building has been demolished by vandalism and a lot of asbestos dust has been released. At times, the station is probably also used by homeless people as a place to sleep, as can be seen from the sheep places in the building. A cycle path runs past the station, which is very busy. So be careful near the windows.
