- Spichlerz twierdzy modli艅skiej, Modlin
An incredible place that has preserved phenomenally well. The place is of monumental size, and also provides the best views to the river and Modlin fortress. No graffiti, no idiots partying, so you're free to explore and enjoy if you made the trek through the swamp. Keep in mind though, that getting there can be a bit of a challenge. Next to the big road, there is a smaller one where it seems some, uhh, suspicious activity takes place among people who prefer to have no lights on in their cars. I had the pleasure of being interviewed by a local character while making my way to the place. There's a path from the bridge that runs beside the river, but it's quite popular with the homeless. They were fine at least when I was there. When coming back I walked next to the barbed wire fence until it seemed like I ended up in a dead-end with military people on the other side, so I went back to the woods where something large grunted at me before it ran back into the thicket. Whether it was a wild boar or a stray dog, I couldn't tell. I thought I was going to die for like two seconds tho. This is still an amazing place to visit, and I guess it's the challenge of getting there which has kept it in the great shape that it is in.

Totally wrecked. Been there two times, the first one only briefly as some kids were partying there in the middle of the day no less. There's some other building that's kind of in the property, but I also heard sounds from there that one might be occupied. Very easy to go and check it out though, so if you're in the area there's nothing to lose.

The tower is gorgeous. Really easy access and the building is impressive from the outside. Unfortunately I wasn't wearing the appropriate clothing to trek inside the thing. The front entrance is kind of fucked and otherwise you have to climb through a window. Looked like there were stairs that still could be used so maybe even the upper floors are accessible. Need to go back some day.
- Willa ze sklepem spo偶ywczym, Konstancin Jeziorna
This is completely renovated now. As inactive as it gets.
The chapel is fantastic, and honestly the exterior is in a better shape that I would've imagined. The surrounding area is littered with bottles, but the chapel itself didn't have a single one in it. As I was trying to photograph it from the front, I realised that someone lives or at least maintains a residence really fucking close there and I don't know how keen they are on people taking pictures, so I left a bit earlier than I intended. Thanks to global warming there was not a drop of water in the pond in August, and the aqueduct looking bridge was pretty wrecked. The bridge that takes you to the chapel from the forest route however is holding out well and worth seeing. Impossible to take photographs of when the nature is in bloom, so I'd reckon early spring or late autumn is the time to go there.

The story of the place is fascinating so expectations were high... But unfortunately what is left is something between a youth hostel and a homeless shelter. The entrance is easy, and I doubt anyone cares about the people entering it with the exception of the neighbor living close-by, should you tress pass through his property. The facade of the building is still as impressive as its ever been, but upon entering the building you'll be quick to note that the ground floor is absolutely rife with bottles and the ruined clothes of the lodgers with a strong the smell of piss to match it. (It did however, look like someone had brushed all the rubbish into giant piles by the wall, so maybe someone is trying to take care of it?) Almost nothing is left of the original walls and decorations sans a lonely bookshelf, and all the graffiti worth looking is basically right by entrance. Should you make an attempt to reach the highest floors, please take note that the roof has partially collapsed on the stairs and thus filling them with loose brick and debris, and it is therefore not recommended to make an attempt to reach the top without your tetanus shots in check. It is I'm sure the best place to go in this joint if for nothing else than the pigeons and the view, so I'll do that next time once I'm wearing something more suitable to make my way up there. tl;dr: lovely place in theory, but it enjoys a high degree of popularity so nothing is left but the ruined walls, the many cans of Romper and those who enjoy them.
07/2020 The building is in a deplorable condition. Partially collapsed and overgrown, which while maybe aesthetically pleasing, it still has inevitably lost some of its original character to the ruin. It's very popular with the people in the neighborhood so better go and check it out while it's still there because the locals are going to fuck it up for good within an year I reckon.
